All Georgians age 16 and older are now eligible for COVID-19 vaccine.

Note for individuals aged 16 & 17: Anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive vaccination. The Pfizer vaccine is the only vaccine currently authorized for ages 16 and older. Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are authorized for ages 18 and up.


Schedule an Appointment for COVID-19 Vaccine

Schedule Online

Go to chdcovidvax.org to schedule an appointment. The online appointment scheduling system will allow for scheduling first dose appointments only, up to eight days in advance.

Residents who need assistance with scheduling can call the Vaccine Call Center at 912-230-5506 to schedule an appointment. The Vaccine Call Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Please be patient as call volume is heavy.

Walk-In Service for COVID-19 Vaccinations

Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are accepted during specific hours, subject to vaccine availability. Visit our vaccine scheduling page for walk-in hours at our county health departments.

Homebound COVID-19 Vaccinations

Georgia residents who are currently homebound due to an ongoing physical or mental disability and are unable to travel to a COVID-19 vaccination site can request to receive vaccination at their home. Please email HVS@dph.ga.gov with the following information for the person who requires at home vaccination:

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • City
  • County
  • Contact phone number

The contact phone number will be used to obtain additional information and schedule the vaccination.


GEMA Mass Vaccination Sites & Other Providers

If you’re looking for information about the Georgia Emergency Management Agency’s drive-through mass vaccination sites in Savannah and Waycross, visit myvaccinegeorgia.com.

The GEMA mass vaccination sites have shifted to providing single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine and Pfizer second doses through May 21. First doses of the Pfizer vaccine will no longer be administered at these sites. Johnson and Johnson vaccine is authorized for individuals age 18 and older.

The site in Savannah at Gulfstream Aerospace at 2 Innovation Drive no longer requires an appointment; however, appointments are strongly encouraged and will help you move through the queue more quickly. Appointments can be scheduled at myvaccinegeorgia.com. The site is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

In Chatham County, free transportation is available to the mass vaccination site at Gulfstream (you MUST have an appointment at the site before scheduling your free transportation option). If you live in Chatham County, you have an appointment at the mass vaccination site, and you have no other means for transportation, you can call 912-856-4563 to reserve a free transport. The call center is open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
